Everything matters

Everything matters

DESIGNING FOR SUSTAINABILITY MEANS QUESTIONING EVERYTHING.

Every component. Every process. Every product.

We’re meticulously examining, identifying, and reimagining critical aspects of our business, from the drawing board to boxes on shelves.

Because, in the quest for doing better, everything matters.

It’s on us

We track what matters so you don’t have to.

Carbon impact label on product packaging

Labels matter

We should all be able to make more informed choices. So, we figured out how to track our carbon footprint and in 2020 we became one of the first companies to put carbon impact labels on our packaging—part of our Carbon Clarity program. It might be a small stamp, but it’s a big deal.

Doing better matters

In 2023, the work we put into making changes across our design and operations reduced our CO2e output by 157,699 tons. That's like taking roughly 36,000 cars off the road for a year.3 You can explore all the ways we achieved this in our Impact Report.

Working together matters

It’s about all of us. If more companies reduce the impact of more of their products, that’s a win. We're open about how we reduce our footprint—from recycled materials to responsible manufacturing. We make our open-source methodologies available to all.

Every material

Shrinking parts. Choosing alternatives. No compromises.

Plastic parts for mouse

Give plastics a second life

And do it in style. We’ve crafted a palette of over 30 vibrant colors—all made from post-consumer recycled plastic. And of course, they have to feel great and endure daily use. Not easy, but we did it. We call them Next Life Plastics and use them in 78%4 of our products. Take your pick.

Aluminium material parts

Aluminium just got cooler

Strong and beautiful. More sustainable. The right material is better for the design and reduces the carbon impact of the product. The aluminium  we use in a variety of products is recycled or low-carbon, meaning it’s made from renewable energy instead of fossil fuels. Win-win.

Paper materials for packaging

More paper please

We are actively reducing plastic and maximizing paper in our packaging. Plus, much of the paper we use for new products comes from FSC™-certified forests and other controlled sources. Renewable on our end and recyclable on your end.5

Shop innovative, responsible designs

A few, but not all, of our proudest achievements.

Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse

Lift vertical ergonomic mouse

The result of innovations on multiple fronts: in comfort with a more natural “hand-shake” position; in plastic parts made with 70% Next Life Plastics (for graphite color); in manufacturing with minimized circuit boards; in purchasing renewable electricity certificates to match the footprint of our production facility; and more. Result: 20% reduction in carbon footprint.6

Wave Keys wireless ergonomic keyboard

Wave Keys wireless ergonomic keyboard

A perfect pairing to the Lift mouse, Wave Keys shares the same innovations. With a cushioned palm and naturally positioned keys, plastic parts made with 61% Next Life Plastics (for graphite color), and responsible packaging using FSC™-certified7 paper. Result: 37% carbon footprint reduction.8

MX Mechanical

MX Mechanical Mini keyboard

From our high-end line, a feat of both quality and reduced carbon impact. Engineered for maximum chassis strength and stiffness using less steel.
